What does music mean to me...
Music is more than sounds. For me, it's a whole story that needs to be told. It's a piece of my soul. Mozart once said, "Music does not consist in notes, but in the silence between them." When I'm at the piano, while playing, I always catch myself thinking that my whole world freezes at this moment; it allows me to enjoy this very moment. I imagine it as some kind of incredible painting or landscape. And you know, at this moment, despite everything that is happening outside, all this fuss and anxiety, everything that has happened in my thoughts before, despite all this, my soul finds peace. Nothing in this world can convey a sense of peace as accurately and delicately as music. I think this is the "silence" that Mozart was talking about. And I think one of my most important tasks is to convey this painting to the whole world through music. So that people can feel this "silence" and immerse themselves in it, be able to see something unimaginably beautiful there, see something of their own, something very close and dear...
